Privacy at Scorely

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Scorely is designed as an offline-first scoreboard. This page describes the data used by the current version.

Data stored on your device

Match data, match history, notes, and settings are stored locally on your device or in your browser. Scorely does not send this scoreboard data to a Scorely server as part of normal use.

Advertising

The current version of Scorely does not contain ads.

Tips and payment information

International tips are handled by PayPal. Vietnam tips use the existing VietQR flow. Scorely does not collect or store your PayPal login, card details, or banking credentials. Payment services process payment information under their own terms and privacy practices.

Country selection on the web

On the web version, Scorely may resolve an approximate country from your IP address only to choose between the Vietnam VietQR flow and the International PayPal flow. The page receives only a country code. VPNs or network routing can affect this result.

Feedback

If you submit the feedback form on the Thank You page, your message, optional name, displayed tip option, language, submission time, platform, and review status may be stored in Cloud Firestore. Do not include PayPal, card, or bank credentials in your message.

For basic spam prevention, the Thank You page keeps a one-hour submission cooldown in this browser. This local cooldown can be cleared or bypassed and is not a server-enforced rate limit.
